Why many small wholesalers use a buying agent
Buying directly from China can be difficult when you do not speak the language, do not have a local presence, and cannot easily check what you are paying for. A buying agent works as your office in China: you send a product link, a photo, or a description, and the agent handles the purchase on your behalf.
For small wholesalers this often means paying local prices instead of tourist prices, and no need to meet a large minimum order quantity just to get started.
How buying agent commission usually works
A buying agent charges a commission on the value of the goods purchased. At 6688 the commission is 5 to 10 percent of goods value, depending on order size and how difficult the item is to source. Shipping and payment fees are passed through at cost, and there are no hidden fees.
Why inspection before shipping matters
The goods you buy are made and packed far away, so the first time many buyers see an order is when it arrives. If the wrong model, a short quantity, or a damaged item was shipped, fixing it afterwards is slow and expensive. When your goods reach us we inspect quantity, appearance and workmanship, and test what can be tested, then send photos or videos so you can approve before we pack.
How consolidation reduces shipping cost
If you buy from several suppliers, shipping each order separately multiplies the cost. Consolidating them into one shipment reduces both volume and handling. We receive your orders, pack them together, and hand the combined shipment to your own freight forwarder, or help you find one.
